Workshop Interactive System / Arduino+Puredata+Linux

Tuesday 9th & Wednesday 10th February

Arduino is a prototyping platform for interactive objects making creative use of an electronic card and a programming environment.
Without knowing anything nor entirely understanding of electronics, hardware and software environments this workshop enables the user to make their projects through direct experimentation and with the help of numerous resources available online.
Pure Data (often shortened to Pd) is an interactive multimedia creation software commonly used in the artistic, scientific and educational fields. Its popularity lies in particular in its ease of use. Rather than a textual programming language, Pure Data offers a graphical programming environment in which the user is invited to manipulate icons representing features and plug them together.
