Dimitris Savva offers a live-electronic installation “Watering” based on the sounds of live water, as well as underwater recordings, all spatialized on a system of 8 speakers.

DIMITRIS SAVVA (Chypre)
Dimitris Savva is an electroacoustic, electronic and soundscape music composer, sound designer, live electronics performer, researcher and live electronic artist, researcher and educator. He received his BA (Honours) in Music Composition from Ionian University, his MA (Honours) in Electroacoustic Composition from the University of Manchester and his PhD on full scholarship from the University of Sheffield.
His electroacoustic music compositions have been in a total of 86 international music festivals (indicative): In Sonic 2017: Immersive Future [ZKM Center for Art and Media], Cube Fest 2019-Sound in Focus III [Moss Art Center, Blacksburg], ICMC 2014 [Athens], New York Electroacoustic Festival 2021).
Several of his compositions have been awarded prizes in prestigious competitions such as Metamorphoses 2012 -2014 -2018, Iannis Xenakis 2018 and SIME 2019. Ten of his works have been published on important collective records (for information: Metamorphoses 2012-14- 18-20, Anthology of contemporary music from Greece and CIME 2020. contemporary music from Greece and CIME 2020).
As a composer and sound designer, he has also collaborated with various artists and researchers from different backgrounds (contemporary dance, performing arts, video art) with various artists and researchers from different backgrounds (contemporary dance, performing arts, video and installation art, documentary, VR projects) and designed sounds and composed music and soundscapes for their works.
