Digital art festival centered around the experimental transversal and emergent practices as well as the relationship between avant-garde codes and art. ElectroPixel is aimed towards becoming an international festival that offers a space of exchange, expermentation and development for both programmers, tinkerers, inventors of all stripes, artists (audio, visual, music, art, interactive) using new technologies in their creation. APO33 would like to engage in an open dialogue with the Nantes Contemporary arts and artists’ community with this festival and reflect the diversity of these critical practices locally, nationally and internationally.
APO33 aims to work in continuity with the Pixelhache network and offer many artistsâ projects situated in the avant-guard of these creative fields and to ultimately raise awareness of emerging practices and artists defined as underground.
ElectroPixel is a 3-day festival offering the public the opportunity to discover Nantes many projects around digital, electronic and sound art with no fixed venue in Nantes. This festival is also a way to expose the best local Nantes based artists currently working in this arena, to a European and international network/audience.
