As part of the Audioblast #12 festival, we are setting up an audio transmission throughout the event centered around the theme of “Resonant Futures.”
We are seeking projects that involve generative sound forms, AI, live sound experimentation, or automated, chaotic, neural, or interactive systems. All projects should utilize open and free tools, free software, or improvised electronic or uncategorized inventions. Each artistic proposal is expected to have a duration of at least 24 hours. Each project will received 80€ for their proposition. 6 project will be selected.
A brief explanation of the theme:
The world is facing unprecedented environmental challenges such as climate change, habitat destruction, and biodiversity loss. Rapid technological advancements have transformed how we live, work, and interact. However, the integration of technology into various aspects of life requires careful consideration of how these innovations align with ecological well-being and human values. Social equity, justice, and inclusivity issues are at the forefront of global discussions. “Resonant Futures” provide a strategy to anticipate challenges and opportunities that can lead to more resilient communities and systems. The reimagining of progress through art and technology can challenge traditional notions of progress that often prioritize economic growth over ecological and human well-being.
