Alexandra Macia & Seamus O’Donnell (analog TV, radios and electronics – Berlin)

Alexandra Macia is a sound artist from Granada, Spain. Since her move to Berlin in 2015, she has been investing in analog sound and working with handmade instruments, sound recordings, loops, feedback, and electromagnetic signals which she processes using a modular synthesizer to sculpt cinematic compositions through the deconstruction of textures and noise.

Seamus O’Donnell works can include radio frequency experiments, manipulated field recordings, self made devices, amplified objects and magnetic fields, no-input mixer as well as other more traditional instruments and voice. Improvisation is probably the most important factor.
As an organiser O’Donnell works with the registered association, Salon Bruit e.V., a platform for experimental music and with ColaBoraDio, a part of the Freien Radios Berlin Brandenburg, as presenter and programmer on the local frequency 88.4FM.

Kasper T. Toeplitz (bass, laptop – Paris)

He has worked with academic research organizations, such as GMEM, GRM, IRCAM, and Radio-France, as well as with experimental musicians, such as Éliane Radigue, Zbigniew Karkowski, Dror Feiler, Tetsuo Furudate, Phill Niblock and Art Zoyd . Citing Giacinto Scelsi and Iannis Xenakis as influences, his early work was mostly written for traditional instruments. He received several prizes and distinctions for these works: 1st prize in composition for orchestra at the festival of Besançon, 1st prize in the Opéra Autrement/Acanthes competition, Villa Médicis Hors-les-Murs in New York, prize Léonard de Vinci in San Francisco, Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto, and DAAD in Berlin. He has also written for his electric guitar orchestra, Sleaze Art. He then integrated computers into his work,

Radio Noise Collective (radios, AM/FM transmitters – International)

The radio, the radio object, its use, its extensions, its culture and its possibilities form the subject and the field of action of the radio Several musicians and non-musicians exploit the sound richness of this transmitter, able to speak all languages, to play all types of music, and therefore an inexhaustible source of sounds and information. Here, the radio becomes a superabundant sound language, an instrument of crossing and interaction.
The situation is reversed: radio is no longer a medium, the means of broadcasting a sound material that is foreign to it. It is the source of a new musical meaning, and it is the music itself that it is intended to broadcast, which becomes parasitic.

Landscapes For Syrinx (piano, électronique et piezo – Nantes)

Training on a classical basis (piano instrument) a journey from one universe to another (cold wave, industrial, tecno, currently experimental electro and electro-acoustic, drone, ambient, contemporary music influences). Within different structured groups (Ceremony then Nô 4096 R, Electro-Free-poetry), or variable in Bitche, Live from time to time. A sound musical research that integrates the accident, the unexpected, the incongruous. In parallel and with writing texts of a poetic nature.

a30t (laptop & electroniques – Nantes)

Modular frequencies with a vegetal, natural and atmospheric space while sound variations SW version.
