He explores the musical field meticulously. He records, shapes and creates his sound pieces like a sculptor. The movement is important, the precision essential, the imagination at the rendezvous. It is also designed its own instruments, built from recycled elements, recycled in a sonic way. An automatic percussion, a new instrument that invites you to let yourself go. To lose oneself ever more, to lose oneself ever more thoroughly in the shades of light of the materials. And to listen, again and again, to the friction, the tinkling, the beating of metal against metal.

Madeleine Anna Pickett is an artist based in rural Norfolk, UK. Beyond mediums and categories, the activation and mise en abyme of energies, concepts and forces through experience is one of its ways of practicing creation in its material, social, sensory, sensitive and conceptual realities. .

Anna Greenwood – British artist and singer songwriter, based in Nantes since 2012. Jenny Pickett’s practice crosses sculpture, drawing, interactivity and performance. This plurality of mediums accumulates layers of meaning, exploring the influences sound can have upon the gaze and vice versa, by modifying both what we hear and see. Pickett’s concern is at the point where technology (new or old), code, signs, signals becomes the landscape or the body by accumulating their previous states, our previous norms.

Events during the exhibition
-March 17 – Eugene Chadbourne + Natrajaor
-March 24 – Weapon/Wolframite/Trimble + guests

From March 11 to 25, 2023 Exhibition Of Nature, Of Noise Les Ateliers de Bitche – Nantes Opening on Saturday March 11 at 6 p.m.
